Hockey

Hockey is a sport in which two teams compete by trying to manoeuvre a hockey ball into the oppositions net or goal using a hockey stick. The sport is played on grass or artificial surfaces. Hockey can be played and enjoyed at all levels by boys and girls, men and women. It is popular in both schools and clubs.

There are several sports in the hockey family. The one referred to above is field hockey but there is also ice hockey, roller hockey and indoor hockey.
