Hadrians Cycleway is a 174 mile (280km) National Cycle Network route running through the World Heritage Site and the Solway Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It forms part of the National Cycle Network running between Ravenglass (Cumbria) and South Shields (Tyne and Wear).
The Walney to Wear Cycle Route was inspired by the pioneering C2C Cycle Route. The W2W passes through Walney Insland, just outside Barrow-in-Furness and both Wearmouth in Sunderland and Whitby on the North Sea Coast.
