The first Cumbria Area Nunchaku Championships were held at Kendal Leisure Centre on Saturday, with competitors from as young as five coming from around the region to compete.
The event was organised by Sensei Richard Smith founder and instructor of Sport Nunchaku UK (SNUK). 2008 World Champion Keelan Knight, pictured right, who picked up gold in his age group at the World Nunchaku championships in Vevey, Switzerland, earlier this year also finished winner of his age group on Saturday.
