MISPA (Manchester Institute of Sport and Physical Actiity) has designed an exciting new learning programme for voluntary and community groups involved in (or wanting to develop activities around) sport and/or physical activity called 'Inspiring Leaders'.
The Seminar Programme will help participants identify and develop their leadership and management skills. It is suitable for both paid and volunteer staff in roles such as coordinators, managers, chief officers and trustees.
Two seminar series are planned; firstly from Sept-Nov 2007, and then again in Jan-Mar 2008, in Central and North Manchester respectively.
The sessions will be led by experienced practitioners and utilise real life situations with an emphasis upon an interactive style of learning. It is anticipated that participants will be selected from a range of backgrounds, interests and abilities.
