CUMBRIA CRICKET BOARD
POST TITLE: Community Cricket Coach/Development Officer
(full time post @ 37 hours per week)
SALARY RANGE : £18,500 per annum
BASED AT: Carlisle
RESPONSIBLE TO: Cricket Development Manager
CONTRACT PERIOD: 3 year fixed term contract (dependant on funding)
All posts will be based within the Cumbria Cricket Board boundaries, mostly within the Carlisle District.
MAIN PURPOSE: The planning, organisation, delivery and monitoring of high quality professional coaching activities and Development of Clubs within Carlisle District Development Group. The key focus will be to link school, community and club provision which aims to provide increased opportunities to retain young people in sport.
ESSENTIAL:
- Hold a minimum ECB level 2, or UKCC Level 2
- Possess suitable experience of coaching cricket to young people.
- Possess excellent communication, leadership and inter personal skills.
- Have good IT skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be available after school, at weekends and during evenings.
- Have a clean current driving licence.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to undertake training where necessary.
- An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau clearance will be required for this post.
