BEACH RUGBY IS BACK
Bigger and better than previous years – Barrow Beach Rugby event is taking place over two days with a Junior Rugby event taking place
June 21st & Seniors/Women’s event taking place 22nd June 2008
This year will see radio road show on the beach with live bands, activities for children, stalls, tuck shop, barbeque and beer tent. A beach football competition will also be taking place.
The Barrow air show is coinciding on the same weekend with the event only 300 yards away from the Beach rugby, so no better seat in the house.
Junior event will fall between two age groups U11-U13 Combined team & U14-U16 Combined team. Seniors/Women are U17 and above – Veterans very welcome. It is run as 7-a side event with 3 subs. A charge of £1 per player will be required at registration.
Both days are played as Tag rugby events so any age very welcome.
