For their performance against the touring Australian Aboriginal team who they beat 28 22, their first defeat of the tour and the only one by a non international side.
JUNIOR SPORTS PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR
Emma Sandwith - Whitehaven (Swimming)
Emma is the fastest female swimmer in Great Britain, having won gold medals in both 50m and 100m freestyle in the National Age Group Championships Aug 2002.
JUNIOR TEAM OF THE YEAR
Katie and Anna McKenzie - Kendal (Sailing)
Selected for the British Youth team which will compete in the Mirror World Championships in Hobart, Tasmania, in January.

Phillip Burns Barrow (Athletics)
Competed for England in the INAS FID European Championships in Hungary.

First girl to play in the Northern Cricket League.
