I.S.R.M – National Pool Plant Operators Course - This course is the only course recommended by the HSE in their document entitled ‘Safety in Swimming Pools’. The course is designed for supervisors and managers who are responsible for the safe operation of swimming pools, it provides the theoretical knowledge required to maintain pool and plant equipment. For staff wishing to progress within the industry, it also provides core knowledge including water testing, treatment, water chemistry and the current COSHH requirements.

I.S.R.M – Pool Plant Revalidation Course - This module aims to refresh and update the knowledge provided in the Pool Plant Operators Certificate module and to provide an appreciation of current trends and standards of operation.

ASA/UKCC – Level 1 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics (Units 1 & 2) - This qualification is aimed at those interested in supporting the teaching programme in a learn to swim environment utilising the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) or equivalent scheme. The qualification is recognised as a UKCC level 1 and is on the NQF at Level 1. In order to achieve the qualification candidates must achieve Units 1 & 2.

ASA/UKCC – Level 2 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics (Units 1-6) - Once qualified a holder of an ASA/UKCC Level 2 (Teacher) Certificate for Aquatic Teaching is able to plan, deliver and evaluate a series of consecutive sessions within the context of a self prepared scheme of work.
18th – 22nd September, 2-6th October & 11th & 12th October 2008 – Total Cost £435.03 - Closing date 24th August
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
This is a nationally recognized qualification for anyone seeking a career in the leisure industry. Participants must be over 16 years of age and be a competent swimmer.
