Who We Are

The Partnership

The Cumbria Sport Partnership includes, Cumbria County Council, Sport England, the 6 District Councils of Cumbria, National Governing Bodies of Sport, sportscoach UK plus the main sports equity organisations of EFDS (English Federation for Disability Sport), WSF (Womens Sports Foundation) and Sporting Equals (Racial Equality). The partnership is dedicated to improving the opportunities for local people in Cumbria to get the most from their chosen sport.

There are many new challenges facing Cumbria Sport Partnership in terms of delivering sports development programmes across a County the size of Cumbria and communication between partners and providing the correct information to members of the public is one of them.

Cumbria Sport Partnership is excited by the launch of its own website as a tool to aid communication and we hope that you enjoy using the site.
