I lead on equity projects. This role involves developing an equity strategy for Cumbria Sport Partnership which aims to ensure that under represented groups (e.g. People with a disability, women and girls and Black and Minority Ethnic groups) within the community have equal opportunities to engage in sport at any level. I also lead on the collection of evidence for the Equality Standard - A Framework for Sport, and support the Cumbria Disability Sport Association.
